ATV back country adventure tours start within sight of Zion National Park and gradually climb through the Hurricane Sands 2,500 feet to the top of a beautiful red plateau. The changing elevations provide a unique opportunity to view differing high desert vegetation that thrives within specific altitude bands. Views stretch for 60 miles in any direction. At the upper rim of the plateau, enjoy breathtaking overlooks of St. George, the Zion National Park basin, Pine Valley Mountain and Warner Valley below. You’ll ride ATV's on bright orange colored sand as you make your way in and around fiery red sandstone formations that resemble
Indian Chiefs, animals and other worldly inhabitants. Unleash your imagination and get your cameras ready to capture "the Giant Prehistoric Petrified Snapping Turtle", "Alien Nursery" and other visual wonders. This is the closest you will ever come to ATVing on the planet Mars.
Package 1 – Three-hour tour:
The three hour ATV tour covers all types of surfaces including several sets of sand dunes to prepare drivers to ride safely in the GIANT orange sand dunes. This tour is great for improving your riding skills it takes you up the high plateaus and offers breathtaking view of the vibrant blue waters of Sand Hollow Reservoir.
Package 2 – Five-hour tour
The five-hour ATV tour covers all of our offered trails and includes “Jurassic Park,” an area of prolific sandstone monuments that look like Indian Chiefs, coyotes, aliens and Indian Teepees. We take time to train and ride on the awesome sand dunes at the very top of the plateau. The "Sand Ballet" that we do in the dunes is just too much fun! The five hour tours come with a delicious picnic lunch served amid the rocks at the “soft rock café” where we relax and enjoy the views, then we maximize our time in the giant orange sand dunes.
Custom packages including 2, 4, and 6 hour tours also available.
